Since the end of August 2016, Coalimex has been allowed by TKV Group to participate in the system of downstream coal business units of TKV to process and supply coal in the South, South Central and Central Highlands areas.
This is a very important new business line, helping Coalimex complete its coal business chain. Coalimex’s coal trading business includes: exporting Vietnamese coal, importing all types of coal in the world, purchasing domestic coal, having a warehouse system to store and process coal, transport and retail coal for final use

To date, Coalimex has established 2 coal processing stations in Hai Duong, Dong Nai and a coal processing and trading station in Long An.

Our company’s main export markets are China, Korea, Bulgaria, India and East Southeast Asia (Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia) and some other markets such as Cuba, Taiwan, Hong Kong.

Next to supply coal to traditional customers, Coal Export Division has actively sought new customers to expand Vietnam’s coal export market to Continental wide in the world. Besides the aim of sharply increasing exports, our company has attached importance to exporting not only high quality coal but also low-quality coal that cannot be consumed domestically. Our company was awarded a Certificate of Merit for coal export achievements, expanding new markets for Vietnamese Anthracite coal and exporting other products.

The coal export and import department is a young, dynamic and active team in all business activities of the company. The success of the coal import-export team not only receives high income for the company but also enhances the company’s reputation.

In parallel with the main task on exported coal, the Department of Coal Import and Export has also been given the task to investigate imported coal to meet growing domestic demand in the near future. In addition, the Ministry of coal import and export also operates in coal production and processing projects in cooperation with domestic and foreign partners. This is a new and important trend of our company in the near future
